Ive completed Pogahn Passage twice - as recently as today
(both as Tyrian and Elonian)

it is *not* a mission town until after you have to make a choice between Magrid (ranger) and Whispers (necro) as a Hero

when I did it, Magrid was required as a Hero

To kill a demon, means you choose Whispers

did you talk to Whispers after you chose the Quest?

if not - go back outside north of Sunspear Sanctuary where you 1st got the quest, Whispers may still be there

(I always choose Magrid - so I cant help much)

after you do venta cemetary, there should be a dock person who has a quest and should be right in front of you when you reach kamadan, you then go to the consulate and report your findings, afterwards theres a quest back at the santuary.

Okay here is the deal I found my fix. Got whispers quest (which was out of the way). If I hadn't decided to run around outside of towns for no apparent reason I wouldn't have found it. You go out the SE exit of Kodunur and head west picking up whispers quest. To be honest I think ALL primary quests should be in towns.

No primaries for me

(tyrian)
Done all missions/quests up to cemetary & loads over to far right of world map (cant remember town names lol, im at work & trying to look busy

)

Had a run round diff places but no primaries. Tried the co-op at Pogahn (i think that was the place) joined party & the leader had reply that i couldnt go ??
(have whispers as hero, if that makes any diff ??)

Any ideas ??

If you took Whispers; you have to do the Rilohn Refuge mission. Pogahn is for those that chose Magrid.

Ok I really need help here lol !

My char is from Tyria.

I did *EVERY* primaries & subquests I found (which means those in towns/outposts *AND* those given by NPCs outside after a short dialogue).

I've : Consulate Docks, Chahbek Village, Jokanur Diggins, Konodur Crossroads and Venta Cemetery.

Now I don't have any more quest to do. The dock guy is quiet (only takes me to the Challenge Mission).

I'm Sunspear Castellan (rank 8) so I can't have blessings anymore.

Since I'm Lightbringer (1), Whispers Informants want me to go to the Chantry of Secrets (of course, I can't). I can't reach either Moddok Crevice.

I have 6 heroes : Olias, Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Zhed and Thalkora.

Can anyone plz at least tell me that I'm no longer alone in that case xD

its possible you already did that quest and chose Whispers
(which seems to hang up people)

if so, you need to go find Whispers outside the Sanctuary to continue

I'm double posting because its related to both threads

the questline, "mysterious message", is kinda poor

After you choose Magrid or Whispers, you have to do their sidequest

after you finish their sidequest, you need to talk to them (to advance)
-- they are next to you but it can be overlooked and you may leave the area without talking to Magrid/Whispers

this is why people have nothing showing them "where to go next" sometimes

go Find Magrid or Whispers (outside Sunspear Sanctuary where you left them) to continue the story and you will be all set

thats where you should be able to find them if you already did their sidequest

If you cant find them,
my advice is go with someone who has the primary quest "mysterious message" - so they will both appear

these 2 npcs really belong at The Command Post after you finish their sidequest, so people can readily find them to continue

I was wondering if I did any of those quests, and reading Secrets In The Shadow made me remember about it, so I went into Dejarin Estate to the last location of the quest (hopefully I did remember where it was

) and tadaaa : Master Of Whispers still waits for me, with a big, shinny [!] above his lovely head ^^ I'm so happy !!

well done ANET for making such a pigs ear out of finding the quests.

ive studied your post Ninna but it isnt doing nothing to help my case and im getting bloody annoyed with the game now.

i've done five coops now up to cemetary + as far as i know all quests.
I cant do pogahn/kondonur or nundu, noone in the towns give me anything.
i went back and found whisperer in jahal bluff but he gives nowt.
As for magrid...i cant find that dckhead anywhere...in no town or in marga coast?

rilohn refuge is as far as i can get but theres nothing there to get ....so now im stuck!

pulling my hair out time!!!!!!!

Hello fellow betrayed.

If you are stuck with no primary quest after the branching quest ( "No me no Kormir" or "To kill a demon"), then I have your solution.

Despite what Andrew Patrick and Gayle grey say there is a bug...

and it is not fixed!

You must go find and talk to either "Margrid the sly" or "Master of Whispers" to continue on your chosen quest path. Be sure to find the one who's path you chose.

But it's not easy. Whispers isn't in the same place you last saw him =/

I'm uncertain exactly where Whispers is since i only found him after running the whole map late last night(this morning), and Immediately shut down GW for a few hours sleep. I believe he was in the Marga Coast, just outside Yohlon Haven.

Please correct me if I'm wrong and you know his location.

Perhaps Margrid(sometimes mis-spelled Magrid ^^) is in the same place though since I didn't chose her path I don't really know.

I hope this helps you out if your still stuck.

It's so Ironic that A-Net's paid representatives can't even bother to post a solution to this problem. I don't really expect them to support third party forums but they took it upon themselves when posting mis-information in this very thread.

BTW last I checked and there was no info in NCsoft's QA

Even if there were It would be hard to find as they're so called Technical support forum is a piece of $#!+

My old Strikeforce clan had a better forum (the vet's lounge) and it had no funding $0.0

I mean NCsoft or A-net could have an e-mail address for bug reports but that would be too easy. Hell, I've got my own SMTP mail server and I'm no game dev.

Instead if one desires to report a bug that should have been discovered in alpha one must create a NEW account just for that purpose!!!

ZOMG!! WTF?? is it any wonder NCsoft doesn't know whats wrong with their game? Why would anyone bother jumping through those hoops?

I won't even begin on the "skill balancing" (nerfing skills that were never properly tested to begin with), the endless grinding for items, gold and sunspear points, or the lame PVP game. I don't think I could fit it all in one post.

What I find most offensive though is the new User license agreement that is BTW Illegal and unenforceable. I paid cash for my copy of Guildwars Prophecies. I own it. Same with Factions. Now I'm blackmailed into consenting to a new user license agreement which states that I have only the privlige of playing GW at their discretion, subject to arbitrary change. All this because I paid more money for Nightfall, more the fool I.

This game has so much potential that will never be realised due to the callous disregard shown for the needs and desires of end consumers. If I ran my business as did they I wouldnt be able to afford to buy Nightfall.

Ok i just might know where you are stuck. Was stuck there too until my brilliant husband figured it out

Was going nuts for a while...

Try this:

1- Go to Kodonur Crossroads

2- Pick Zhed as a hero

3- Speak to Estate guard Rikesh

Geezuz i cant remember if i took the whisperers or magrid, i can only presume i took whiperer cos he's the only one i can find.
To set the record straight whisperer is north of kondonu / sw of rilohn refuse.
I know this cos i spent all last night looking for both.
whisperer is standing by a res point with 3 Djinns.

but the problem is he doesnt have no green mark over his head and he dont say squat either!!!!!

Also last night i tried to join PUGS to just do the coops in Nundu/konondu etc to by-pass the bug but ended up getting kicked from teams because they couldnt enter the mission because of me.

ANET PLEASE SORT THIS PROBLEM OUT NOOOOOOW!!!!
